Protect Yourself at All Times

Protect Yourself at All Times is an experimental video utilizes split-screen visuals, abstract sounds, and subtle transformations to explore themes of trauma, cultural dislocation, and resilience. The title is taken from a common boxing slogan at my gym, hints at the self-protective mindset often adopted by trauma survivors. Through layered imagery and a dynamic soundscape, the piece conveys how the ongoing process of coping with past violence subtly and often unexpectedly seeps into everyday experiences.
